iOS Enumerations and Optionals in Swift Introduction to Optionals Initializing Optional Values

my code is not working. could you please advice in this regard?

optionals.swift 
struct Book {
    let title: String
    let author: String
    let price: String?
    let pubDate: String?

    init?(dict: [String: String]){
        guard let title = dict["title"],
            let author = dict["author"],
            let price = dict["price"],
            let pubDate = dict["pubDate"] else {
                return nil
        }

        self.title = title
        self.author = author
        self.price = price
        self.pubDate = pubDate

    }

Notice that the price and pubDate properties can be nil (they are optional values). However, in the initializer, you are failing (returning nil) if they are nil. This is not the expected behavior. You only need to check the title and author values.
