Define: Bread crumbs?

Hi. I noticed that Dan, in the section Site Architecture doesn't define "bread crumbs" although he talks about it at length. It's first mentioned at 1:55. Did I miss something or is that information missing? I look forward to finding out.

Thanks for the information. :) ...the point of me posting was that I wasn't sure if the instructor missed defining this term in the video...or if that could be changed...if that matters at all.
