Don't understand what the teacher means..

I don't quite understand what teacher said at 20" seconds.

It's like: "The data they sent to us, and each other, should be snooped on."

What does it mean? (Sorry for that but I'm not English..)

He's talking about keeping the data private

He actually says, "The data they send to us, and each other, shouldn't be snooped on." The phrase "snooped on" means "investigated in an attempt to find out something, especially someone's private information."

Apparently the transcription writer misheard it even more severely. The transcription shows "the database sent to us and and each other They've done". :laughing: Perhaps you'd like to submit a bug report to Support about the transcription error, it might get you a "special Exterminator badge".

Most users of software such as social media, email, online gaming etc. expect to use an application without getting their private information compromised or shared with others. So it is up to the developers that build the application to keep users information private. I hope this helps. Cheers!
