Use of JQuery and Popper..

Hey The teacher quickly introduces JQuery and Popper, but doesn't really explain how to get access to those links or what these are used for... I checked those links but it doesn't really explain me why the teacher is using these two links, and why do we need them in our project? is there anyone able to quickly explain or provide any other useful link to read more about it? or an external course at all? Thank you :)))

jQuery and Popper.js are required for some of the functionality of Bootstrap. jQuery is a general purpose DOM manipulation library, and Popper is a JavaScript library for positioning popovers and tooltips easily. In web development and programming in general it is common to use tools and libraries that themselves depend on other tools and libraries, and in a lot of cases you don't need to know how those other dependencies work. You can get a lot out of Bootstrap before you ever have to actually touch the jQuery. I've personally never touched any Popper.js stuff. You can even leave these links out in the case where you only want to use the Boostrap CSS, though that will limit the functionality of some of the Boostrap components. Hopefully this helps put it in perspective.
