17,665 PointsWhat am I doing wrong with add_transaction? Thanks!
Here is what I have:
def add_transaction(description, amount) @transactions.push(description :description, amount: amount) end end
class BankAccount
attr_reader :name
def initialize(name)
@name = name
@transactions = []
end
def add_transaction(description, amount)
@transactions.push(description :description, amount: amount)
end
end
end

Courses Plus Student 26,868 Pointsyou need to make the element you push into the array a hash.
def add_transaction(description, amount)
@transactions.push({description: description, amount: amount })
end
Also, there's one extra end
after the add_transaction
method in your code

17,665 PointsThanks William! Unfortunately, that did not work. In fact, I've tried that yesterday with no luck.

4,383 Pointslooks like the colon on description is in the wrong place. No curly braces are necessary.
@transactions.push(description: description, amount: amount)
