what do I do to say item 0 if you have an a you can't print but then print the rest

So this question is tripping me up how do you do this please help thank you.

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(items)
        if item 0 = 'a'
        continue

You are close and on the right path. Walking thru the loop as it currently stands, you print item and then ask if the item at location [0] is equal to 'a'. You need to check this validation before printing. I found it helpful to write down some answers and then walk them thru the code to see if they work. I am pretty sure this will work.

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == 'a':
            continue
        else:
            print(item)
