I don't fully understand why this is not acceptable. I used this exact code in the workspace and it runs fine but yet it is not an accepted answer here for some reason.
def just_right(arg):
if len(arg) < 5:
print("Your string is too short")
elif len(arg) > 5:
print("Your string is too long")
else:
return True

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Yes, your code runs perfectly fine in the workspace and prints out the results you would expect. However, the challenge requirements state that your code should return those strings, not print them.
Much as the else statement has a return, so should your if and elif. That being said, your logic and syntax are spot on so good work there!
