Dear Friends,

In the tutorial video into head tag the external connection with another css style appears like that <link rel="stylesheet" href="style/css"> type="text/css" is omited.

Do you know if is not compulsury to use it.

Also what does rel attribute means?

The "rel" stands for "relationship", and indicates how the item being linked to is related to the containing document. "Stylesheet" is just one of several possible relationships.

When "rel" is "stylesheet", it is recommended to omit "type" since "text/css" is implied by the relationship.
