JavaScript JavaScript Functions Arrow Functions Testing for Number Arguments

can you please tell me why the curly braces { not closed after ' if 'statement .

function getRandomNumber(lower, upper = 100 ) { if (isNan(lower) || isNAN(upper) ) { throw Error('Both arguments must be numbers');

}

return Math.floor(Math.random() * (upper - lower + 1)) + lower;

}

Hi Palash,

They are actually closed; if you indent to make it easier to read, you can see it (two opens and two closes, one set for the function and one set for the if statement). Note: I copied your code and simply reformatted it without adding anything:

function getRandomNumber(lower, upper = 100 ) { 
  if (isNan(lower) || isNAN(upper) ) { 
    throw Error('Both arguments must be numbers');
  }
  return Math.floor(Math.random() * (upper - lower + 1)) + lower;
}
