Your first line function returnValue(value) { return value }; passes the challenge.

  return Value;
}

tries to return the variable Value. There isn't anywhere to return to, since it isn't part of a function. The variable Value with a capital V is not defined anywhere in the code. { and } come in pairs, and the } in this code block does not have a matching {.

var echo = returnValue{value};

To call a function, use ( and ) after the function's name rather than { and }. value has not been assigned a value, so var echo = returnValue(value); will give Uncaught ReferenceError: value is not defined.
