Glitch or am I missing something?

I get this error: "Bummer: You need to set the padding for .social-links elements to 15px." I thought thats what I did?

I only space stuff because it’s easier to see, it said I was right up until adding padding and margin in. The other comment got it right, it’s colons not equals signs. I didn’t even notice I’d used equal signs

Hi Ellen!

Your HTML looks right, but CSS property assignment doesn't use an equal sign. You use colons, like this (it passes):

.social-links {
  padding: 15px;
  margin: 10px;
}

Hello

You've done the right thing, you just need to remove the spaces between the attribute name and the value.

In this case:

Ahhhh.... you see I knew that it was supposed be colons. Wow, it’s like my brain didn’t even see it. I’m so used to other languages that use =. Thanks so much!
