Everytime I run my web page there are unwanted advertisements on the top and bottom of my page. I definetely didn't put them. Are they viruses ? How to remove them ?

11,940 PointsIf you're running Mac OS X, look into the free version of Avast, since Malwarebytes doesn't have a Mac version.

28,149 PointsTry running the free version of Malwarebytes found here: https://www.malwarebytes.org/
Treehouse did not put them there. Your browser has probably been compromised. Malwarebytes should find whatever it is.

Treehouse TeacherHi Nur Mala
As Kevin Korte mentions, we don't add any advertising to our site. We value our student's time and attention too much. You're paying us for good content, not ads, and good content is what we try to deliver every day!

13,169 PointsI am using window. I have downloaded and run malware scan from https://www.malwarebytes.org/. I run it. It didn't help. Now, all video tutorials are running with music background. Very noisy so I even can't hear the tutorial. There are also advertisements in the top and the bottom of the tutorial page. There are also in the text of the challange box. I believe the advertisements are not from Treehouse, but could you give me an idea to solve this problem ?
Thanks

33,856 PointsHi Nur, try to see if Avast will clear the problem. Also, can you try another browser?
I'm going to guess you're on a Windows machine. You might want to try something called RogueKiller as well.
