2,568 PointsI used display: inline-block; to show items in an li side by side but i'm wrong?
I don't know what other declaration I can use to get this correct.

3,095 PointsHi Cory,
While your code does work because you are targeting li
(= all list items, not a specific one), the challenge asks you to position the list items inside of .main-list
side by side. You are currently targeting .main-list
and li
because you separated these elements by using a comma.
.main-list, li { // targets .main-list and all list items
display: inline-block;
}
.main-list li { // targets list items inside of .main-list
display: inline-block;
}
Hope this makes sense - happy coding!
