Python Python Basics Meet Python Variables

i wrote the same but for some reason didn't work.. Traceback (most recent call last):

This is a command you would give to the workspace system, but it sounds like you already have Python running in interactive mode (where you would see the ">>>" prompt).

Exit Python first (control-D or "quit()").
