That should be converted into a newline sequence (typically a "carriage return" and a "line feed") before it is printed out.

Something odd must be preventing the normal conversion from happening. Try posting your code (or a link to your workspace snapshot or repo) to facilitate a complete analysis. Also mention what browser you are using.

"\n" in the new line code. It is the equivalent to pressing the enter key since you can't really do that on a string the old fashion way.
