ets add a method to set mBarsCount to MAX_COUNT and return nothing.

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  private String mColor;
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public int charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
}

I have a paused account so I cant view the code challenge but a problem that I see is in your charge method you have no return statement.

public class GoKart {
  private String mColor;
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public int charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
    return; //this will return nothing
  }
}

thanks a lot!!

Hey kangan,

you are welcome !

See you in the forum :)

Hi kangan,

the charge method should return nothing ... so change your return type from int to void !

Hey Derek !!!!!

12 points to you MASTER !!!!!

:)))))

I wasn't sure if they wanted a method that literally returns void, or if the challenge was asking for a method that returns an int and just add a blank return statement. lol

public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

The charge method should look this way :)

Hey, when you get a chance reply to my recent email I sent. Thanks =)
