PHP Arrays and Control Structures Part 3??

I am not understanding how to get it to output correctly. This is what I have written. I tried multiple ways i could think of but i cannot solve it. All the echoes are supposed to display the 'name' and 'email', but when i run this its only showing 'name' : 'email'

<?php //edit this array $contacts = array(array('name' => 'Alena Holligan', 'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com'), array('name' => 'Dave McFarland', 'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com'), array('name' => 'Treasure Porth', 'email' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com'), array('name' => 'Andrew Chalkley', 'email' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com'));

echo "<ul>\n"; //$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names. echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n"; echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n"; echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n"; echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n"; echo "</ul>\n";

index.php
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts = array(array('name' => 'Alena Holligan', 'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com'),
                  array('name' => 'Dave McFarland', 'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com'),
                  array('name' => 'Treasure Porth', 'email' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com'),
                  array('name' => 'Andrew Chalkley', 'email' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com'));

echo "<ul>\n";
//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n";
echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n";
echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n";
echo "<li>$contacts'name' : 'email'</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";

You need to use indexing to access elements in an array, and here there are nested arrays. So you still need the array name and numeric index for each person, but now you'll need an additional index for each item,

For example: $contacts[0]['email'] would get the first person's email (Alena's).

Thank you! Your suggestion really helped!
