CSS CSS Transitions and Transforms Getting Started with CSS Transforms Changing the Transform Position with transform-origin

Setting The "transform-origin" value to 100% 100%

Why does setting the y-axis value to 100% moves the origin to bottom instead of top?

1 Answer

According to MDN, the y-offset describes how far from the top edge of the box the origin of the transform is set.

So, the y-axis starts at 0% (top) and ends at 100% (bottom).
