what am I doing wrong? I can't cut and paste text either. I have to retype everything?

it should work. the label is exactly like it's described. I can't cut and paste either. everytime I try to , it just cuts it out? is there a trick I don't know?

I don't know about your cut/paste issues, but I see two issues with the code:

  • the "for" value of the label should be the same as the "id" value of the input
  • the text to be shown should go between the label start and end tags
