It seems that the syntax is correct at the selector and declaration level, yet there's something that isn't right.

Treehouse TeacherHi there, Alexandra Velez ! You are super close here. As you've noted, the syntax is not quite correct. Some parts of CSS aren't particular about whitespace. But this is one place where it is. Notably, the selector doesn't like whitespace where it shouldn't be. This isn't particular to Treehouse. This is anywhere CSS is used
You may not have a space between img
and [title="avatar"]
. They need to be squished together like img[title="avatar"]
. Then everything works as expected!
