why does my login button follow the adjacent sibling/or child when i only want the reset button to follow suit.

Are you asking about line wrapping?

You have a maximum-width constraint on the #container element, so several items are wrapping around to the next lines. Is that what you mean? If not, I may have misunderstood the question — please describe the issue in a little more detail.
