Why is this error happening: You need to add a type attribute to the input element.

I don't understand

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>HTML Forms</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <form action="index.html" method="post">
      <input id="name" name="user_name">
    </form>
  </body>

Hi Jack. You havnt set what type of input you want.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>HTML Forms</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <form action="index.html" method="post">

      <!-- HERE I ADD type="text" to declare the type of the input-element! -->
      <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name">
    </form>
  </body>
</html>

Hope this helps!
