Why use arrow functions instead of regular functions?

I am still not sure why use arrow functions instead of regular functions? thanks

Many times it's simply programmer's choice. Arrow functions can make the syntax more concise, particularly when the value from a single statement is to be returned.

But arrow functions have a slightly different behavior, particularly in regard to what the keyword this represents. This is an advanced concept that you may not need to be concerned with quite yet, but if you want more details, see the MDN page on arrow functions.
